"So Long Seattle" was inspired by a week-long vacation I spent in the beautiful mountains of Washington. I spent that week reflecting on the many struggles of life, but also the faith that we must have to rise above them. My hope is that this song helps you find faith in the midst of your struggles.

So long Seattle, it was nice to get to know you
So long Seattle, I wish that I could stay with you
But I'm leaving in the morning
'Cause I've got obligations back at home
I'm leaving in the morning, and I'll be alone

So long surrender, I've gotta learn to keep my guard up
So long pretenders, oh we both know that we messed up
'Cause we went and pulled the trigger
We went and jumped the gun
And I've got this feeling that you'll be looking for me
But I'll be on the run

Phoenix to Chicago
I've loved everywhere
It's always a returning flight
It's always in the air

So long Seattle, maybe some day soon I'll see you
So long Seattle, maybe some day I will come and meet you
Will you meet me in the middle?
Oh, cause darling I can't make it all the way
If you meet me in the middle, in the middle I will stay

So long Seattle
